The mechanics

How Poshmark seller fees work in 2026

Poshmark uses the simplest fee structure of the major resale marketplaces: a single price threshold decides which of two fees you pay. On a sale under $15, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95. On a sale $15 and up, it takes 20.0% of the sale price. That commission is the whole story — there are no listing fees and no separate payment-processing fee.

Shipping and sales tax never touch your payout: the buyer pays a flat shipping fee and Poshmark supplies the prepaid label, and Poshmark collects and remits sales tax. So your take-home is just the sale price minus the commission — which makes the flat fee the one thing to watch, because on a cheap item it can be a far bigger bite than 20.0%.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does Poshmark take per sale in 2026?

Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% of the sale price on items $15 and up. That commission is the seller's only fee — there are no listing fees and no separate payment-processing fee. Your payout is simply the sale price minus that commission.

Does Poshmark charge sellers for shipping?

No. The buyer pays a flat shipping fee at checkout and Poshmark provides the prepaid label, so shipping is not deducted from your payout. Sales tax is also collected from the buyer and remitted by Poshmark, so it does not affect what you keep either.

Is there a Poshmark listing fee?

No. Poshmark has no listing fees. You only pay the selling commission ($2.95 under $15, or 20% at $15 and up) when an item actually sells.

Why is Poshmark's fee so high on cheap items?

The under-$15 fee is a flat $2.95 rather than a percentage, so it is a large share of a low sale. A $10 sale nets $7.05 — an effective fee near 30% — while a $30 sale pays the flat 20% instead. Bundling several low-value items into one listing usually keeps more of the money.

How is Poshmark's fee different from eBay's?

eBay charges a category-based percentage (about 13.6% in most categories) plus a fixed per-order fee, calculated on the item, shipping, and tax combined. Poshmark is far simpler: a single flat $2.95 or 20% on the item price only, with shipping and tax paid by the buyer.
